Maria Concepcion Murrieta

Maria Concepcion (Connie) Murrieta passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, she was 72 years old.

 She is survived by her son, Eric Murrieta, her brothers Francisco, Manuel, Juan and William Romero along with cousins, numerous nephews, nieces, granddaughters Savannah (Francisco) Enciso, Ashanti, grand-son Antonio Murrieta III and great-grandson Brian Enciso. 

She is preceded in death by her son Antonio (Tony) Murrieta Jr, parents Reyes and Hortencia Romero, her sister Maria Dolores, her brothers Jesus Angel and Jose Luis Romero.

 Connie had an exuberant personality, making her the life of the party. Connie was a Nogales native who dedicated 30+ years to the State of Arizona while working for both  AHCCCS and the Department of Economic Security.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She often entertained cooking different cuisine for all to enjoy. Although battling illness Connie remained cheerful and positive. She was always looking out for the well being of others. Connie will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
