03/22/1961-05/13/2026It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our pillar of strength Olivia Garcia Mendez born in Guaymas ,Sonora on March 22,1961 to the late Bernardina Mendez De Garcia and Guadalupe GarciaIn her early years, she pursued an Associate degree in early childhood intervention, showing a deep care for helping others. As she grew her passion for cooking became her true calling, and she touched so many lives with her culinary artistry.She was a remarkable mother and grandmother whose love, laughter, and vibrant spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She always welcomed others to her home with open arms. She loved to dance, fill every room with music, and cook with such joy whether at home or at the senior center or other establishments. She was the kind of person who could light up any room with her outgoing personality, warm smile, and unforgettable energy. Whether she was singing karaoke with friends and family, or preparing one of her delicious home-cooked meals, she made every moment feel special.She truly loved life and the people in it. Family meant everything to her. She was a strong and protective mother, a true mama bear who loved her children fiercely. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She shared a special bond with her siblings and always kept her family and all her friends close to her heart. Her greatest joy came from spending time with them and making memories filled with laughter.She believed in working hard and giving her best in everything she did. She built lasting friendships everywhere she went because of her caring heart and generous spirit.Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her love, traditions, laughter, and beautiful memories will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.She is survived by her 6 Children: Rafael Rascon, Joanne Ramirez, Lizvette Rascon, Jesus Hector Winters,Fabian Andrew Winters and Dylan Ari Winters.Son in law Aaron Ramirez and daughter in law Veronica Rascon.Her 8 Grandchildren: Lindsey Rascon ,Irahnny Nieblas, Krista Nieblas, Danika Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez Jr, Alexis Rascon, Kayla Rascon, and Alan Rascon. HerGreat grandchildren: Nael Maldonado and Nailani Maldonado.And Her Sibilings:Jose Antonio Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Angel Garcia, Juan Garcia ,Guadalupe Garcia, Dora Garcia, Martha Garcia, Maria Del Carmen Garcia and Veronica Garcia and countless nieces and nephews and extended family.

03/22/1961-05/13/2026Con profunda pena anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro pilar de fortaleza, Olivia Garcia Mendez, nacida en Guaymas, Sonora, el 22 de marzo de 1961, hija de Bernardina Méndez de Garcia y Guadalupe Garcia.En sus primeros años, obtuvo un título asociado en intervención de la primera infancia, demostrando siempre un gran amor y dedicación por ayudar a los demás. Con el tiempo, descubrió que su verdadera pasión era la cocina, y a través de su talento culinario tocó la vida de muchas personas.Fue una madre y abuela extraordinaria cuyo amor, alegría y espíritu vibrante dejo huella en todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla. Siempre recibía a todos en su hogar con los brazos abiertos. Le encantaba bailar, llenar cada espacio con música y cocinar con enorme alegría, ya fuera en casa, en el centro de personas mayores o en otros establecimientos. Era el tipo de persona que iluminaba cualquier habitación con su personalidad extrovertida, su cálida sonrisa y su energía inolvidable. Ya fuera cantando karaoke con amigos y familiares o preparando una de sus deliciosas comidas caseras, hacía que cada momento fuera especial.Amaba verdaderamente la vida y a las personas que formaban parte de ella. La familia era todo para ella. Fue una madre fuerte y protectora, una verdadera “mamá osa” que amaba ferozmente a sus hijos. Sus nietos y bisnietos eran la luz de su vida, y atesoraba cada momento que pasaba con ellos. Compartía un vínculo muy especial con sus hermanos y siempre mantuvo a su familia y amistades cerca de su corazón. Su mayor felicidad era pasar tiempo con ellos y crear recuerdos llenos de risas.Creía en trabajar duro y dar siempre lo mejor de sí en todo lo que hacía.
