Roberto Treto Ronquillo lived a life defined by service, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family and community.
A longtime member of the Nogales community, Robert dedicated many years of his life to serving the City of Nogales, leaving an impact that extended far beyond his work. His giving heart, charismatic personality, and willingness to help others made him someone people knew they could count on.
Robert’s greatest pride was his family. He was the kind of grandfather who showed up. He took great pride in his grandchildren and was always present for the moments that mattered. He celebrated their accomplishments, supported them through life’s challenges, and made it a priority to ensure they were happy, cared for, and had what they needed. His family always knew they could count on him.
Selfless by nature, Robert gave without expecting anything in return. His love was demonstrated not simply through words, but through a lifetime of providing, helping, supporting, and caring for the people around him.
He leaves behind his son, Robert Ronquillo; grandchildren, Ivan Ronquillo, Alexa Ronquillo, and Aly Hayden; and great-grandson, Eliam Ronquillo, along with many relatives, friends, and community members whose lives he touched.
After a life filled with love and service, Robert will be reunited with his beloved wife, Estella Ronquillo. Together again, their love and the family they built remain an enduring part of their legacy.
