Rosario Garcia

It is with our heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rosario Garcia Martinez, lovingly known as Chayo or Chayito to many. She departed this life peacefully on August 15, 2025 surrounded by family at the age of 77. Rosario was born on September 7, 1947 in Navojoa, Sonora. She later made her home in Nogales, Arizona in the late 1960's. Soon after, she met the love of her life, Luis M. Garcia Sr., and raised their family in Nogales, Arizona. Rosario was a devoted mother to three children: Luis M. Garcia Jr. (Emma De La Ossa), Gabriela Garcia (Victor Herrera), and Fernando Garcia (Claudia Villareal). Her Legacy continued to six grandchildren: Danielle F. Garcia (predeceased), Luis M. Garcia III, Yalitza I. Garcia, Camila V. Herrera, Nayeli A. Garcia, and PaulaJuliana Herrera. Her legacy did not stop there, she was also a great-grandmother to three: Elena Clara, Alaia Anahi, and Zuriel Azaiah. Rosario was such a loving grandmother who always made sure that her grandchildren were taken care of. She at last is reunited with her first grandchild, Danielle, up in Heaven.
Rosario dedicated nine years of her life as a school bus driver, where she was loved and cherished by many students, that up to the day will remember her for it. Outside of that, she loved to cook for her family and made many delicious plates, dance to her favorite songs, garden and always have beautiful flowers outside her home, and travel with her family. She made the most memories traveling to Navojoa with family and sit by the river. Rosario was also known for always having a Bud Light in hand and enjoying cookouts with family and neighbors every weekend.Rosario was the eldest of 7 children and took pride in her role as a sister, guiding and caring for her family throughout her life.Family and friends are invited to attend her services on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 10:00AM to 1:30PM at Adair Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 12:00PM. Mass to follow at 2:00PM at San Felipe de Jesus Church.Rosario will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Partió de esta vida en paz el 15 de agosto de 2025, rodeada de su familia, a la edad de 77 años. Rosario nació el 7 de septiembre de 1947 en Navojoa, Sonora. Más tarde estableció su hogar en Nogales, Arizona, a finales de la década de 1960. Poco después conoció al amor de su vida, Luis M. García Sr., con quien formó su familia en Nogales, Arizona.
Rosario fue una madre devota de tres hijos: Luis M. García Jr. (Emma De La Ossa), Gabriela García (Víctor Herrera) y Fernando García (Claudia Villarreal). Su legado continuó en seis nietos: Danielle F. García (fallecida), Luis M. García III, Yalitza I. García, Camila V. Herrera, Nayeli A. García y Paula Juliana Herrera. Su legado no terminó ahí, también fue bisabuela de tres: Elena Clara, Alaia Anahí y Zuriel Azaiah. Rosario fue una abuela amorosa que siempre se aseguró de que sus nietos estuvieran bien cuidados. Ahora finalmente se ha reunido en el cielo con su primera nieta, Danielle.Rosario dedicó nueve años de su vida como chofer de autobús escolar, donde fue querida y apreciada por muchos estudiantes, quienes hasta el día de hoy la recuerdan con cariño. Fuera de su trabajo, disfrutaba cocinar para su familia y preparar muchos platillos deliciosos, bailar sus canciones favoritas, cuidar su jardín y siempre tener flores hermosas frente a su casa, así como viajar con su familia. Sus recuerdos más preciados fueron en los viajes a Navojoa con su familia y las tardes junto al río. Rosario también era conocida por siempre tener una Bud Light en la mano y disfrutar de convivios y carnes asadas con su familia y vecinos cada fin de semana.Rosario fue la mayor de siete hermanos y se enorgullecía de su papel como hermana, guiando y cuidando de su familia a lo largo de su vida.Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a sus servicios el viernes 22 de agosto de 2025, de 10:00 a.m. a 1:30 p.m., en Adair Funeral Home. El Rosario se llevará a cabo a las 12:00 p.m. y la misa en su honor será a las 2:00 p.m. en la iglesia San Felipe de Jesús.Rosario será profundamente extrañada y recordada para siempre por todos quienes la conocieron y la amaron.
